The project “Let's code it! Teacher hackaton” refers to the main goals of the Key Action 1 through reinforcing the teachers' profesional profiles and developing primary skills.

PROJECT'S TOPIC:
The topic of our project is programming, understood as systematical problem solving. Computational thinking and using new technologies plays a very important role in social life. Research show that teaching coding develops a number of important skills like problem solving, logical thinking and creativity. Programming encourages pupil to analyze, think and solve problems through the trial and error method.

PROJECT GOALS:
The procject was created to answer the educational needs of  the Lubicz Community as specified in the Lubicz European Development Plan.

MAIN GOALS:
Improving the effectiveness of teaching Mathematics

Implementation of educational innovations submited to the Board of Education

Increased educational staff support allowing selfdevelopment, peer development and professional development of teachers

Developing effective communication in English

Raising the level of programming knowledge and skills of teachers

Extending the list of potential partners in international partnership.

ACTIONS:
In 24 months of the project, the educational staff from qualified schools in the Lubicz Community consortium (Primary schools in Młyniec Pierwszy, Złotoria and Lubicz Dolny) will take part in methodical courses on programming, robotics and new technologies. The acquired skills will be recognized through the Europass Mobility certificate.
